Readmission
Previously enrolled students in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts desiring to re-enter more than 24 months after the end of the last complete term should contact the LSA Academic Advising office, 1255 Angell Hall, (734) 764-0332. Students desiring to re-enter all other schools/colleges should contact the appropriate school/college directly if more than one term has passed since the last term completed.
If academically ineligible to return, the student must first petition in writing for reinstatement well in advance of the desired registration period. Letters of petition should be sent to the appropiate school or college. For LSA, the address is LSA Academic Standards Board, 1223 Angell Hall, Ann Arbor, MI 48109-1003. Be sure that your petition includes dates of attendance, an factors contributing to dismissal, and the reason you whis to continue your studies.
