All Campus Day events are by prior registration only. Due to strict room capacities, registration is required and walk-ins cannot be accommodated. In the event of cancellations, or if additional space becomes available, the registration page will be updated to accurately reflect Campus Day availability.

FAQs

Can I bring more than three guests?

Due to university policy, registered students are only permitted to bring a maximum of three guests. We are not able to make exceptions.

Could Campus Day be canceled? How will I be notified?

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Campus Day program follow all university guidelines and policies regarding closures, including (but not limited) to those related to the weather. The health and well-being of our students, staff, faculty, and guests is our top priority. In the event of a cancellation, you will be notified as soon as possible.

How is Campus Day different from other programs I may have attended at Michigan?

Campus Day is a daylong event that emphasizes the student experience. You receive different presentations, which focus on the unique opportunities and experiences you can take advantage of at Michigan. The day includes a housing presentation, a student panel, and an afternoon session specific to your school or college. Plus you'll get to have lunch in a dining hall and see a residence hall room, two opportunities that are unique to Campus Day.

What if I can’t find a Campus Day date that works with my schedule or attend a full-day event?

If you can’t attend Campus Day, we welcome you to register for one of our 75-minute Admitted Student Tours, which are tailored specifically for admitted students. Sign up for an Admitted Student Tour by visiting the Campus Day page linked from Enrollment Connect. (Note: You will only be able to sign up for either an Admitted Student Tour or Campus Day, not both.)

Can I register for more than one Campus Day event?

You should not register for more than one Campus Day event as that takes away space from other admitted students. Please do not make travel arrangements prior to registering for Campus Day.

How can I increase/decrease my party size, change the date, or cancel my registration?

Please respond to your confirmation email or email [email protected] with your name, U-M ID number, and registration change. Please note that you are allowed to bring a maximum of three parents or guardians.

What do the fees cover on Campus Day?

The fees cover the entire cost of the program. This includes parking, light morning refreshments, and lunch in the dining hall.

Does the university provide fee waivers to attend Campus Day?

Fee waivers are available to those who qualify and in most cases will be automatically applied when you register for Campus Day. If you have questions regarding fee waivers, please email us at [email protected].

What is the cancellation policy? Can I get my registration fee back if I can no longer attend?

Campus Day fees are nonrefundable. However, fees can be transferred to a different date. Please let us know as soon as possible if you can no longer attend Campus Day, as that can open up space for another student.

Why should I attend Campus Day?

Campus Day provides you and your family the opportunity to see our campus, speak with currently enrolled students, and have questions answered as you consider enrolling at Michigan.

Do I need to provide my own transportation to/from North Campus if that’s where my afternoon session begins (Engineering; Music, Theatre & Dance; Art & Design; Architecture and Urban Planning)?

Your morning campus tour will bring you to North Campus as a group. We will provide you with a bus map at morning registration to navigate your way back to Central Campus at the end of the day.

Can I visit a class while attending Campus Day?

Students will spend the afternoon learning about the specific school or college to which they have been admitted. If you would like to learn more about a particular class or department, please contact the department directly.

What’s the schedule for Campus Day?

You can find the full schedule on the main Campus Day webpage.
