We’re hiring summer 2026 tour guides! 

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is looking for strong public speakers who are punctual, reliable, and passionate about the university to join our team of tour guides. If hired, you will be hired for the summer 2026 season and may have the opportunity to get a return offer in the fall as a year-round tour guide, who can lead tours throughout the next academic year and following summer.

Applications must be submitted by Monday, March 23, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Every year, more than 45,000 people visit campus for tours and other programs offered at the Huetwell Visitors Center. Tour guides show prospective students around Central Campus, answer questions about student life, and share their personal experiences at Michigan. They also display pride and professionalism while representing themselves and U-M.

A few tour guides serve as front desk assistants at the Huetwell Visitors Center. Once hired as a guide, you may inquire if interested.
