U-M learning communities combine the personal attention of a small college environment with the unparalleled resources of a large research university. Be a part of a friendly, supportive, and intellectually stimulating community while taking advantage of everything the larger Michigan campus has to offer.

Residential College
With on-site theater facilities, a photography dark room, creative art studios, music instruction, professors' offices, and advising, the RC combines the resources and options of LSA within the atmosphere of a small, close-knit liberal arts college.
Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program
Learn about research partnerships between undergraduate students and researchers.
Michigan Learning Communities
MLCs are self-selected groups of students and faculty drawn together by shared goals and common intellectual interests.
Theme Communities
Learn about these small, residential communities students can opt into with a focus on engaging programming and resources surrounding a particular topic like sustainability or entrepreneurship.
