I’m an Early Action (EA) applicant and haven’t received my decision, when should I expect to receive it?
U-M has released an initial wave of Early Action decisions. If you haven’t received a decision yet, this is not a reflection of your pending decision. More decisions are on the way and will be shared by Jan. 30.
I was postponed during Early Decision (ED), when will I get my decision?
Early Decision applicants who are postponed will be considered in Early Action (except Taubman) and receive a decision by the end of January, if admitted.
Early Decision applicants who are not admitted in Early Action will then be considered in Regular Decision and will receive a decision by early April.
I was postponed during Early Decision (ED), and then admitted during Early Action (EA), when is my enrollment deposit due?
If you were postponed in Early Decision and then admitted, your enrollment deposit is due by May 1, 2026.
I was postponed during Early Decision (ED), and then admitted during Early Action (EA). Am I still bound to my prior Early Decision Agreement?
If you were postponed in Early Decision, you no longer have a binding commitment to the University of Michigan.
