Re-admission

We know that sometimes life challenges can make it hard to continue enrollment at the University of Michigan. Perhaps the best thing to do is to step away, take care of yourself, and put formal education on hold. If you are or have been a student at U-M, we would like to do all we can to help you complete your degree.
Most schools and colleges require a readmission/reactivation process if you have not been enrolled in the past year. Some exceptions exist, and reaching out to the school and college directly will be your best course of action.
In order to expedite the information you are requesting, make sure to include the following information in your communication. Processes differ by school and college, and additional information will be requested if required.
There are times when students need support in taking care of their health and well-being, which may have been a reason you are not currently enrolled. We want to make sure you have access to the support you need, and encourage you to access Resources for Stress and Mental Health.
If you have any outstanding financial obligations please contact Student Financial Services (SFS) via email at [email protected]. SFS is very interested in helping you continue and complete your education at U-M.
