Checking Your Application Status

First, you will need to check the Common Application to see whether you have successfully submitted your application. Within 3-5 days of successful submission, you will receive an email with your U-M ID and login credentials for Enrollment Connect, an online portal for all your application needs: track your checklist and application status, receive important messages from our office, view your application decision, and more.

We take your application every bit as seriously as you do. To verify your application information, go to Enrollment Connect and choose the Application menu. Then, select the button that reads Verify Application Answers, which will show what you have on file with us. Please contact us if you see anything that needs attention or should be corrected. If all of the information is correct, you don’t need to respond.

Checking Your Financial Aid Status

  1. Create a secure login ID by creating a “Friend Account” using a valid email address. You’ll use your Friend Account as your login ID to access your financial aid information.
  2. Go to Wolverine Access, select Students in the header, then click on “New & Prospective Student Business” and login using your newly created ID (your email address) and password. You’ll need to verify your personal information, including your eight-digit U-M ID, which was emailed to you, as well as your birth date.
  3. View your financial aid information.
